- Rotator cuff repairs
- SLAP or labral repairs (stabilisations)
- AC joint reconstructions
- Superior capsule reconstruction
Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis)
Frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis is thought to be an inflammatory condition that causes severe pain and restriction of shoulder movement. Most cases of frozen shoulder do not require treatment with invasive surgery and respond well to injections such as a hydrodilatation procedure.
In severe cases, surgery can be considered which involves releasing the thickened and inflamed capsule to restore movement. Soong performs this operation arthroscopically, achieving a full and adequate release of the capsule.
